Safra Quadathlon 09

Before the race begins, the medical team, participants and Coastal Rescue teams are checking, preparing and having the last briefing.

At 8am sharp, the flag went off and the participant dashes towards the sea.

The first participant out of the water and the others follow suit and ran towards the water point to rinse off the sea water.

2nd part of the race is the inline skating.

3rd part of the race is cycling.

Finally, the finishing of the last event which is running.  There are people who endured to the finishing point before they give up and needed medical attention.  Really have to give to these people.

The people who made this possible. The participants, their families and friends and the organizing committee.

Panning shot practice with my new lens

Bought a 18-200mm IF-ED AFS 3.5-5.6G DX lens on 14 Jan 09.  I am thinking that this will make a very good travel lens due to the wide range of zoom.  Will bring it when I go overseas in future.  Below are a few panning shots I shot with the lens.
